North River Bible Institute is a bible institute under the auspices of North River Bible Baptist Church located in Chattanooga, TN. It was established to train and equip men and women, laypersons and professionals for the work of the ministry. NRBI seeks students who are willing to devote themselves to diligent study and prepare for ministry, whether part-time or full-time.

While attending NRBI, students will study the entire KJV Bible. In addition, courses pertaining to the pastoral ministry, preaching, bible doctrine, and theology will also be studied.

NRBI will meet every Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:40 pm and biweekly on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am or by correspondence. The first term will begin the last Monday in January, every 3 years, and the second term will begin the fourth Monday in August of the same year. Each term is about 14 weeks long.

The program of study levels every three years so students may begin any term and graduate every three years. Upon completion, students may enter the fourth year.

Regular attendance to class sessions is expected by all students and is a vital piece of the learning process. NRBI allows for a maximum of two weeks of absence each term. Excessive absences may result in a grade reduction or suspension. Exceptions will be made for those whose occupation requires them to be absent. Arrangements concerning absentees and make-ups should be made directly with the instructor.

The Institute will close for Fall break during the September Labor Day and NRBB's annual October Revival as well as Spring break. If desired, contact the church for a copy of the schedule for the appropriate calendar year.

The first term will end the first week of May and the second term in the first week of December.

NRBI is currently able to offer courses at a greatly reduced cost. The cost for full-time students is $140.00 per term in addition to $53 for the cost of textbooks. All students are required to pay a non-refundable $10 registration fee. The spouse of a full-time student will be permitted to attend FREE, provided they purchase their own materials. Students must enroll before the second week of each term.

Refunds will not be available after the third week of each term. All fees must be fully paid prior to receiving grades.

Those who wish to study with NRBI must purchase the required materials. All supplies and materials needed may be purchased for a nominal fee.
